My illustration career started in the usual way: with crayons, fingerpaints, and cut paper. I doodled and scribbled my way through school (especially during math classes) until I had colored my way into the Rhode Island School of Design. I gladly chose illustration as my major, which let me develop my silly side and get back to my whimsical and crayony roots.

I've drawn bunnies for Little Brown, a series of lift-the-flap books for Tiger Tales and Nathan, and an alphabet book series. Soon to come are puppet and under-the-sea themed projects for Pinwheel Ltd. in London.

You might see me doodling in my sketchbook if you visit certain New York cafés in the morning. I like soy lattes with no sugar.
